Iranian Forces State Assault on American Facility in Bahrain, As Part of Regional Retaliatory Strikes.
Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed missile attacks throughout the Middle East in response for a significant and ongoing offensive against it by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an zone in the area of the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any destruction is unclear and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.
Airspace Engagements
Elsewhere across the region, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait - which all house American military installations - said they have engaged and destroyed missiles in their airspace.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had successfully engaged a number of projectiles apparently targeting the al-Udeid air base, the largest American base in the region.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement it was targeting US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the offensive on Iran initiated by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.
That initial attack - initiated at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far focused on locations linked to the the regime, with US President Donald Trump urging the people of Iran to revolt against the government.

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had detected an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems engaged the missiles with notable success and destroyed a several projectiles," the statement continued.
Officials reported debris landed in a residential area in the capital, causing some property damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
