President Donald Trump stated on the weekend that he has asked the relatives of a National Guard member tragically killed last week to visit the executive mansion.

He mentioned that he conversed with her family and they were “heartbroken”.

US army specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20, was lost her life in a violent incident on last Wednesday in DC.

Her colleague, US air force staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, 24, remains hospitalized in grave state.

Attendees assembled over the weekend at a local school in West Virginia to honor Beckstrom.

“She was the type of pupil that instructors hoped for. She conducted herself with calm resilience, a contagious smile and a positive energy that inspired people around her,” the principal, the principal of her previous school, told the Associated Press. “She was caring, considerate and always eager to support those in need.”

Funeral arrangements for Sarah are in the process of planning.

Officials have indicted a 29-year-old Afghan national with one count of homicide and charges of violent assault while armed.
