Twenty-four from Nigeria Female Students Released After Eight Days After Kidnapping

Approximately twenty-four West African young women who were abducted from a learning facility eight days prior are now free, national leadership stated.

Attackers raided the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School in Nigeria's local province on 17 November, fatally wounding a worker and abducting multiple pupils.

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu commended security forces for their "swift response" post-occurrence - although precise conditions of the girls' release had not been clarified.

West Africa's dominant power has witnessed numerous cases of captures in recent years - with more than two hundred fifty youths taken from faith-based academy recently yet to be located.

Through an announcement, an appointed consultant of the administration verified that every student abducted from learning institution within the region had been accounted for, mentioning that this event sparked copycat kidnappings across further Nigerian states.

More than fifteen hundred students got captured from Nigerian schools in recent years, when two hundred seventy-six students were abducted during the well-known large-scale kidnapping.

On Friday, at least three hundred students and employees were taken from an educational institution, a Catholic boarding school, in Nigeria's local province.

Fifty of those taken from learning institution managed to get away according to the Christian Association - however no fewer than two hundred fifty are still missing.

The leading Catholic cleric within the area has stated that the administration is making "no meaningful effort" to rescue those still missing.
